Cesar Lopez – President & CEO
Mr. Lopez has over 18 years of experience in the resource sector with a focus on exploration and development in South America. He has founded several public and private junior mining companies, including AQM Copper, White Mountain Titanium and Centenario Copper. Mr. Lopez is currently the Chairman of Aegean Metals Group Inc., an exploration company focused on developing gold and copper projects in Turkey. He holds an LL.M. in International Law from Golden Gate University and a MSc in Mineral Economics from the University of Chile.
Stephanie Ashton – CFO
Ms. Ashton has over 17 years of experience in the natural resource sector. She has served as the Founder, Director and CFO in a number of mineral exploration companies, most recently AQM Copper. She holds an MBA in International Legal and Tax Strategy from HEC Paris and an M.Sc in Mineral Economics from the University of Chile.
David Prins – COO
Mr. Prins is a Civil Engineer with extensive experience in the evaluation, design, planning and subsequent development execution stages of mining projects, principally in Latin America. Mr. Prins’ previous position was as President and CEO of Explorator Resources Inc. until its acquisition by Sociedad Punta del Cobre in May 2011. Prior to this he was the principal of his own Santiago based consulting firm which provided project evaluation and management services to many leading precious and base metals mining companies. Mr. Prins has also worked for Placer Dome Project Development Group directly and indirectly for a period of over 16 years which included a 10 year period at the Zaldivar Mine in Northern Chile. He is currently a director of Duran Ventures Inc., a company with an advanced exploration project in Peru.
Giovanny Ortiz –VP, Exploration
Mr. Ortiz is a Colombian geologist with more than 17 years of experience in Colombia. He was formerly the Exploration Manager of EcoOro Mineral Corp., where he led their multi-million ounce gold project, Angostura, through to feasibility level. Based in Colombia, Mr. Ortiz spearheads Seafield’s exploration programs and general management in the country.
